    Grapes were grown on estate vineyards between 100 and 200 meters above sea level and then hand selected and harvested.

    Wines were fermented at a temperature of 20°C for 21 days, and then aged in stainless steel vats.

  • Complex wine with dominant strawberry jam and blackberry aroma.

    Cuvée Karsov



    Château le Grand Vostock’s premium, oak aged wines carry the name of General Karsov – winemaker and wine lover, who obtained the land where Château le Grand Vostock is situated in the 19th century from the Tsar in thanks for his victory at the siege of Kars in the last Russo-Turkish war. The General was one of the first Russian winemakers who understood the potential of this land.

    The red Cuvee Karsov wine has been prepared from local Russian as well as French grape varieties and aged in new French barrels.

    As evaluated by French specialists, this wine is in the class of Cru Bourgeois. Will be distributed through specialized boutiques, restaurants, upscale supermarkets.

    Cabernet Sauvignon, Krasnostop, and Saperavi grapes were hand selected and harvested from vines grown on the rocky limestone soils of the best of the estate lands, and through two levels of quality control. These wines remained on lees for 21 days to provide full extraction of aroma and flavors.

    General Karsov the son of the hero of the last Russo-Turkish war continued a great work of his father and for excellent service obtained the land where Château le Grand Vostock is situated and became one of the first Russian winemakers who understood the potential of this land.

    Following French wine-making traditions we made Cadet Karsov – the “youngest” in Karsov “exquisite wine family”.

    • Well balanced velvety taste.

    le Chêne Royal



    Château Le Grand Vostock’s super-premium, oak barrel aged wines carry the emblem of a beautiful ancient oak that lies on a ridge of the winery’s land. This is an appropriate lasting symbol of the wines and the land that produced them.

    This coupage was developed with the assistance of specialists from Château Mouton Rothschild to the standards of Grand Cru wines.

    Wine in aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.

    The Le Chêne Royal red wine was produced from hand selected and harvested Cabernet Sauvignon, Krasnostop, and Saperavi grapes. It remained on lees for three weeks in special storage conditions at a temperature of 20°C to provide full expression of the maximum of aromas, taste, and color.

  • Balance with full tannin that provides excellent potential for long storage.
